Naked Embarrassment

Why are some people so embarrassed about being naked?

When it comes to having sex, the majority of the time we can’t wait to rip each other’s clothes off and fuck until the sun comes up or goes down. Yet even when it comes to sex, some people have a serious problem about getting naked in front of their partner or fuck buddy. Some of the time this can be chalked up to the fact that you are getting naked in front of someone new. It’s exciting but scary at the same too. If you already have a hang up about some aspect of your body, or you’re trying to make a new partner or fuck buddy feel comfortable about being naked in front of you, then the following advice can help.

Understand the reasons
There is always a reason behind the embarrassment. People don’t just suddenly become embarrassed about being naked. It builds up over time and often after an incident that made them feel exposed, unsafe, humiliated or a combination of all three. Understanding why someone doesn’t feel comfortable naked will help you eliminate the problem.

Pay Attention to the bits they hate
Often a woman (and a man) will hate certain areas of their bodies. It could be their bum, their tits, their thighs, their dick, their ears, their arms…anything really. Whatever it is, when you find out why they hate this area (or areas) pay close attention to them during sex. Pay more attention to these areas over other areas of their body. This will drive a feeling of comfort into your fuck buddy’s or partner’s head allowing them to start associating good feelings with an area of their body they previously hated.

Don’t push
If someone is really having a problem undressing in front of you for the first time, don’t push. Be understanding and play around a bit more. Make out, cuddle, stroke do whatever you need to do to make your fuck buddy or partner feel comfortable around you.

Turn out the lights
If someone really is still having trouble getting naked in front of you for the first time, try turning out the lights. It’s not a great long term solution as ideally you want that person to start to feel comfortable being naked in front of you, but to begin with it can help. Being in the dark adds a sense of comfort to them and will spice up the first time sex a bit more.

Exercise
If you’re really unhappy with a particular area of your body that is preventing you getting naked for sex, try working out. Go for a run, join a gym or do anything that will help you feel better about yourself. Exercise has proven to raise endorphin levels in the body releasing good feelings throughout and making you feel a lot better about yourself.

Talk
Communication is always key, especially with casual sex. If you’re not feeling happy about being naked, let your partner know. You can always fuck with your clothes on or half on – itself adding an extra element of excitement to the sex – until you feel more comfortable around your fuck buddy or partner.

Happy fucking!
