It’s unusual to have so much data on women’s favourite sexual positions but not much on men’s. Are men simpler in their bedroom pleasures? Do women really have the more powerful imagination?
We set out to ask a selection of men what their most favourite position is.
1. Cowgirl
Often accused of being “the lazy boy’s preference” men love it when their partner straddles them from on top. Not only does it give the man a perfect view of all the loveliness of the female form, but it allows for deep penetration and gives the woman full control over the speed and intensity of sex. Many women favoured this position as well.
2. Doggystyle
If you don’t know what this position is now then you need to get back to sex education and do some swotting. Allowing the man deep penetration into the vagina from behind it gives us guys the perfect view of your ass! And we love looking at and playing with your ass!
3. The Side Winder
A little less well known, the side winder is great as it allows for maximum penetration for the man whilst rubbing the woman’s clitoris with the movement simultaneously. Simply position your lady on her side, lift up her leg and place it over your shoulder as you enter her. She can turn her head around to face you for added stimulation and you both get off very quickly.
4. The Missionary
Penetration and thrusting is a primal male urge. The missionary allows us to fulfil this urge perhaps more effectively then any other position. You can adapt it for increased pleasure for the lady too though; try sitting up on your knees as you enter her or place her legs either side of your head. This allows for a deeper thrust and increases her vaginal sensations.
5. The Stand Up Routine
Sex outside of the bedroom is a huge turn on for both men and women sometimes but for us guys, nothing says ‘great sex now!’ more then a romp in the kitchen or the living room where the mere fact of being in a place more suited for TV or cooking creates greater arousal. Shoving a woman up against a wall or a kitchen counter as we enter her can be mind blowing for us.
