The reason for this is that the man’s G-Spot – the prostate – is located within a few inches of the anal opening. 86% of the women surveyed who had anal sex also had vaginal sex during the encounter. Out of this 86%, 72% claimed that they received oral sex and 32% partnered in masturbation. The interesting thing was that this 86% of women all claimed to enjoy more frequent and intense orgasms. However this may not be due to the anal sex alone. The survey posits that it is most likely because multiple sex acts were engaged in including anal sex. Variety as we all know has a tendency to spice up sex a lot more then just doing it in one position.

But is it just the multiple sex acts that cause the woman to be turned on by anal sex? According to several medical and sexual journals the anus has multiple nerve endings culminating at the end of the anal canal. Stimulating these nerve endings combined with stimulation of the clitoris has been proven to give a woman intense and in many cases multiple orgasms.

Some women do like anal sex, but it seems many women indulge in it in conjunction with other sex acts. It might also be worth noting that anal sex is not the wildest sexual fantasy for men.
