It’s unusual to have so much data on women’s favourite sexual positions but not much on men’s. Are men simpler in their bedroom pleasures? Do women really have the more powerful imagination?

We set out to ask a selection of men what their most favourite position is.

1. Cowgirl
Often accused of being “the lazy boy’s preference” men love it when their partner straddles them from on top. Not only does it give the man a perfect view of all the loveliness of the female form, but it allows for deep penetration and gives the woman full control over the speed and intensity of sex. Many women favoured this position as well.

2. Doggystyle

How important are different sex positions? Short answer: Pretty damn important!

Seriously though; women and men derive more sexual pleasure from certain sexual positions. That’s the great thing about human beings: we’re all different. So if you’re worried about impressing your new fuck buddy or you simply want to step things up a bit with a current one, then we’ve put together a short guide to some positions that will help him control his ejaculation and her find her orgasm.

Women: Best Standard Position to increase confidence
Three words: You. On. Top.

Maybe you feel insecure in the sack, or maybe you’ve just never taken the time to try something different. Whatever the reason try straddling your guy from on top. This gives you much more control over the sex putting you in the power position. He’s your toy now, for you to play with as hard or as gently as you like. Longer lasting Sex
As a guy if you’re having trouble going the distance before coming, try alternating technique and position. The missionary position allows you more control to withdraw if you feel like you’re about to ejaculate, but doing it doggy style will also allow you to control as well. Better yet you can alternate positions once every few minutes.
