One of the best things about sex is that it comes in all sorts of shapes, sizes and flavours. There is quick sex, there is slow sex. There is that first time sex with a new person. The sex itself isn’t technically great (it never is the first time) but there is all that excitement and the adrenaline rush from it being the first time with a new person. On the other side of the scale, there is that really comfortable sex with someone that you have slept with multiple times before over a long period of time. What it lacks in new excitement can be easily made up for in refined technique and understanding of the other person's body.

With so many different flavours, in this article, I would like to talk about some of my to types of sex.

Brand new sex

Brand new sex harks back to all that newness that comes when you sleep with someone for the first time. Your first time was never going to be technically “good” because there is all the stress of it. You are up in your own head, and the best sex is had when you are in your body not in your head. There is something wonderful about it though, something a little crazy, a little scary, this is about living on the edge. With a fuck buddy this can often occur the first time you have sex. This si especially true the more you fancy your fuck buddy. If you really want them and it has been a hard seduction that still could go wrong, that tends to bring this flavour to the table. It is a wonderful flavour!

Comfortable sex

This is a much-maligned type of sex. Many people, when they reach this stage, tend to start looking for a new fuck buddy rather than sticking with the friends with benefits partner that they have at that time. I think this is a shame. Really good comfortable sex only comes when you have been with someone for a while. It is like an aged fine wine, tempered over time. There is no stress, no worries, you both know what is happening and where you are going with it all. It doesn’t have the same bang, it is a completely different type of pleasure. IF you have had a fuck buddy for a while, stick with it and push it through to this stage. You will find it is great sex for entirely new reasons.

Spontaneous sex

I think this is my personal favourite. This is when it feels unplanned, it feels in the moment. The first time you hook up with someone from a bar, pub or club it is likely spontaneous sex. There are no expectations because there is no investment on both sides o the table. You can just go with it and see what happens. You can also have spontaneous sex with a fuck buddy that you are sleeping with regularly. It is just about it being unplanned and in the moment. So next time you feel like having sex with them and it is a really bad time, do it anyway!

Sex comes in many different forms, shapes and colours. I’d like to talk about some of my favourite ways of varying it, and perhaps help you have a few ideas of your own about how you can mix up your sex life and make it more exciting. A change is as good as a rest they say, and certainly changing things up with sex is a great way to keep things fresh and exciting. So whether you have a long term fuck buddy that you are sleeping with and are looking to mix it up a little, or you are looking for a fresh squeeze, here are a few things to think about.

In terms of physical sex there are a near unlimited number of positions, all of which offer a wonderful variation of orgasmic results. Whether it is doggy style, old fashioned missionary, or reverse cowgirl, there is something for everyone and always room to mix it up and keep it real.

There is also different times of day to have sex. Evening sex is the best, you can take your time, there is no deadline, and you can cuddle up and sleep together afterwards. Morning sex however has its own advantages by a long shot! Whether you have a busy day at work, or it is a lazy Sunday and you have no urgent tasks to attend to that morning, there is nothing like starting your day with some sex. Surprise daytime sex is a rare treat! Our lives mean that our daytimes are usually filled with work and toil… to have a chance to mix that up with some sex is especially exciting as it is such a contrast to our usual daytime activities.
