Pricing questions
Is F-Buddy free to join?
Yes. Every member starts on Classic, which is free: build your profile, browse members and Matches, and send a limited number of messages a day. You only pay if you choose VIP or VIP Plus, or buy Super Matches or Boosts.
What does VIP add?
Unlimited messaging, advanced search with unlimited results, seeing who likes you, unlimited likes and rewinds, read receipts, Incognito, chat rooms straight away (including the VIP & Verified rooms), creating private group chats, and free Super Matches and a free Boost every week.
What does VIP Plus add?
Everything in VIP, plus priority placement for your profile, messages that stand out in other members' inboxes, an enhanced profile design and the VIP Plus badge.
How long are the plans, and do they renew?
VIP and VIP Plus come in 1-month, 3-month and 6-month plans. You pay for the whole plan at the start, and it renews at the price shown here at the end of each term. The weekly price is there to compare plans.
What are Super Matches and Boosts?
One-off extras any member can buy in packs. A Super Match puts your message at the top of one person's inbox, and they can always read and reply. A Boost puts your profile first in Matches and the Featured row for an hour, for members whose preferences match. Classic includes a free Super Match every week; VIP and VIP Plus include more free Super Matches and a free Boost every week.
Will I see the price before I pay?
Yes. The upgrade screen shows the exact amount and how often it renews before you pay, and that is the amount you are charged. It can differ from the prices on this page, as prices are subject to change and can vary by location.
